Single-handed
Stuff you can do
with just one arm

This video is for spunky, independent folks with the use of just one arm -- whether from trauma, stroke or just a broken arm.

to order

A slip on the ice sent Dr. Churchill to the ER on Superbowl Sunday with a broken arm. The ER doctor told her to forget about cooking, cleaning, laundry... It took her a while to realize that there were ways to do many things that at first seemed impossible with just one arm. A friend told her how to get the right amount of shampoo from bottle to head, "Squeeze the shampoo onto a spoon..."

Little by little, she figured out "how to do stuff" with just one arm. Nitty-gritty stuff they don't teach you in medical school. She made this videotape while her arm was still in a cast, using just one arm.

"Doctor C" is an ordinary down-to-earth middle-aged lady. So chances are, anything she can do you can do too! Seeing is believing.

She demonstrates "stuff" like:...........

  • Slicing a lemon -- using a dish drainer!

  • Peeling a hard-boiled egg. "You use your thumb like a bulldozer..."

  • Putting a pillowcase on a pillow. "You roll the pillow up like a tootsie roll..."

  • Threading dental floss onto a holder. "This one looks a little strange..."

  • How it works better to have deodorant in a tall container.

  • Much more

Beyond sharing specific techniques, though, the video is based on a certain outlook and belief -- that "It doesn't matter if it takes me longer or it looks awkward. What matters is the result."

This video packs in a lot and takes only 16 minutes to watch. We have kept the cost down-to-earth too at only $11.95 plus shipping and handling. The video features multiple uses for a handy gripper pad (sold in stores as a "jar opener"). But we didn't want you to have to hunt all over town, so we included one FREE with each video.

What viewers are saying...

"Watching this video really opened my eyes about how much I could do...single-handed."

"After watching this video I felt better about taking a lot of time to do something that I used to do quickly. At first it was very frustrating, but after watching Dr. Cynthia wrestling with a pillow case, I didn't feel so awkward about doing things myself."

"My doctor told me to take it easy and let other people do things until my arm healed. It was so great to get ideas and permision to attempt to do more things for myself."
